How To Add Banners

Solution

Let's say you were given the following banner code:

<a href=http://mailingathome.net/safelistprox/s.php?yourusename target="_blank">
<img src="http://mailingathome.net/banner468x60.gif" border="0" width="468" height="60" alt="Target Safelist"></a>

The parts that are highlighted in yellow below are the only parts of the code you are concerned with:

<a href="http://mailingathome.net/safelistprox/s.php?yourusename" target="_blank">
<img src=http://mailingathome.net/banner468x60.gif border="0" width="468" height="60" alt="Target Safelist"></a>

When you go to enter a banner there are 2 fields:

Banner URL and Website URL

Banner URL must end in either .gif or .jpg

You would enter http://mailingathome.net/banner468x60.gif in the Banner URL field and http://mailingathome.net/safelistprox/s.php?yourusename in the Website URL field.

Do NOT enter any html code or quotes.

Another way to look at it: If you pasted into your web browser the value for Banner URL you should see your banner.

If you pasted into your browser the value for Website URL you should be sent to the website you are promoting.

If you click the Preview button and your banner does not display that means you have not entered the Banner URL properly.
